What Is AVA?

Communication is vital - that’s especially true when caring for the day-to-day needs of a senior population.  Modern technology tools help, but they are often complex and inflexible.  Introducing AVA - software for seniors and those who care for them.

AVA is a communication tool, designed by senior living administrators and residents, with their unique communication needs in mind.  With AVA, residents use a simple read-and-tap interface on any internet connected device to create service requests, sign-up for activities, order meals, and much more.

Simplicity

No phone numbers to remember (or look up!).  No more residents reaching out to their “favorite” staff member. No more after-hour requests delayed as they sit in a mailbox. AVA allows a resident to tap one button, then type or speak their request, and tap submit. That’s all there is to it!  AVA uses rules you establish to make sure the right person or department receives the request.

Information

It’s not just about residents communicating to their support teams.  AVA provides a single place for information, documents, videos, resident directories, and more.  Leaders can publish information to the entire community, or restrict information to specific sub-groups (by location, special interest, etc.). 

Convenience

AVA’s design makes it available for residents to use any time, anywhere.  Order tomorrow’s lunch as you settle into bed?  Request maintenance or housekeeping from the kitchen table?  Away from campus, and forgot a sign-up deadline?  No worries.  Find a neighbor’s phone number while visiting your children?  We put it all in the palm of your residents’ hand!

Flexibility

We recognize that seniors have a wide variety of opinions regarding technology - and we respect that. Whether e-Mail, text message, or phone call, residents tell AVA their communication preference. When leaders need to communicate directly to residents, they prepare a single message which is sent to every recipient exactly as we in the method they prefer (yes - using text-to-voice, we can even call someone’s phone!) AVA puts control in the hands of the receiver of information, and removes the complexity and inefficiency of getting a message to your community.
